When will I receive my ticket?

Your ticket is emailed shortly after booking. In rare cases of high demand, a short delay may occur, but you’ll receive it before your visit.

Can I print my ticket?

Not necessary-just show the mobile version on your smartphone.

Yes, but availability is limited. Online booking is recommended to skip queues.

Can I enter at a different time than I booked?

No. You must enter at your scheduled time slot.

How long can I stay inside the Colosseum?

There’s no time limit once inside.

How long should I plan for my visit?

Set aside 2–3 hours to explore all sites.

Is there free admission on the first Sunday of the month?

Yes. Free entry is offered on the first Sunday monthly. Tickets must be picked up at the ticket office (first come, first served). Roma Pass and Membership holders must also queue for free tickets.

Can I bring a small dog?

Yes – in open-air areas only (Forum & Palatine). Conditions:

  • Must be 5–10 kg, in a personal carrier (no strollers)
  • No access to the Colosseum or closed areas
  • Pet therapy/service animals allowed with documentation
Can I book a group ticket?

Group tickets are not available, but you can purchase multiple individual tickets for your group.

What’s the maximum group size?

25 people, including the guide. Groups of 10+ must use a whisper system.

Can I book a free ticket in advance?

No. Free tickets must be collected in person. However, 24h Only Arena and Full Experience tickets do require booking.

Are all areas accessible?

No. The Domus Transitoria is currently closed. Updates will be posted on the official site and social media.

Are guided tours available?

Yes, both online and on-site.
